The Florida Association of Surgical Assistants and Ethicon Inc. will be sponsoring a Suturing and Endo-Surgical workshop in St. Petersburg, Florida on August 18, 2007. The workshop will be held at the Tradewinds Resort located directly on Florida’s beautiful gulf coast.

These workshops will feature suturing instruction and “hands on” endo-surgical instruction using pelvic & abdominal training models. This program will be taught by Surgeons, Ethicon representatives, and Surgical Assistants. Participants will be introduced to common suturing techniques and knot tying on Ethicon tying boards and on pig feet. Instruction in advanced methods for gaining speed and dexterity will also be offered. This workshop provides students with the perfect environment for gaining valuable surgical knowledge and experience.

Breakfast and Lunch are included in the registration fee and the Ethicon knot tying board and Wound Closure Manual are yours to keep. The meeting is a great way to network with other Surgical Assistants and to meet the leadership of the FASA.
So come to St. Pete and spend the weekend on the beach with us!
